Methods

We invent and construct prototypes for new medical imaging systems. We test proof-of-principle prototypes in our lab and oversee the clinical evaluation of the new devices. To evaluate new ideas we use computer simulations and analytical calculations. The new systems typically consist of photon counting Applications Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs), semiconductor detectors and digital data acquisition systems.
